Their customer service sucks, based on past experiences. Call and pester them. I think most of their money comes from supplying race teams so the B2C stuff is just a nuisance.

I'd do the Hybrid as it will work with a standard 3-point belt. The yoke on a traditional HANS can dig into your chest, depending on how big your pecs are.

Only ding against the Hybrid is that it's a little bit more of a chore to take off and put on.

I wish I had a hybrid for days I also instruct. The on and off of the hans is slightly annoying.

Only the $1000 works with 3 point belts. The other requires a harness.
