Impression:
The HFC's didn't change the tone much under 3500rpms, but it adds a little bit of rasp in the upper revs. At first, I wasn't too thrilled by adding rasp but after a day of driving, I've really come to like it. It adds an extra bit of character to the sound, really screams at WOT. Still no drone anywhere, the car feels much livelier and throttle response seems improved. Best of all? NO SMELL! I drove around for about 30 minutes, came in the house and had my wife do a sniff test on my clothes. Passed!

Some light revving and slow take off.

I am aware that videos sound different on YouTube. To me this sounds significantly better and adds lots more character. When I listened to the first video I was much less excited. I want this.

To me, this sounds better than the test pipes I've heard from YouTube. The sound is fuller ( has body).

My race Xpipe with the Borla ATAK.... is loud. Very loud.

I run catless& Eisenmann race and it's near unbearable on full throttle with windows down. Neat sound with windows up though.

Contemplating MPE rear piece so my neighbors can shut up about my car having an aftermarket exhaust.

Thanks man, the shop that did the HFCs for me is called JG Design and Fabrication in Ventura, CA. They mainly do custom hot rod stuff but the owner Justin is cool as hell and will tackle anything you give him.

Hmm.. do you ever go to the cars and coffee in Ventura? Wondering if we did talk.

Seems like it would accomplish the same thing (minus the resonators included with this x-pipe setup) and probably for a lot less money. No disrespect to the OP who took the time to pioneer this great sounding setup. Just thinking of all the options at this point.

I'm wondering the same thing. Would removing secondary cats from an OEM x pipe make the exhaust any louder? I'm talking about running this with an MPE. Maybe the specific design of the AA X pipe and it's resonators are what make the difference?
