I checked the voltage of the injectors and it was normal, so it is not the crank sensor..

My buddy had a similar issue, car shut off on the freeway and wouldn't start back up.
He thought of everything from rod bearings to bad steering sensor... He was out of gas... Please put gas in it, the indicator is a bit misleading. My buddies car showed 36 miles remaining, but not enough to get the engine started... |

Problem is that this same issue happened when I had a quarter full...
My buddy says the fuel injector relay isnt getting enough voltage to open the injectors and send fuel..the fuel pump is working as it should..theres a spark..i dont know. it sounds like an electrical issue. Also, the fuel line sprayed gas out when i disconnected it to test Last edited by vain_os; 05-11-2015 at 09:17 PM.. |

Did you put more fuel in the tank yet or no?

Bet you it's as simple as the battery's not "registered" and it hasn't been charging since last week when you bought it, now it's completely drained.

According to the faults you posted a picture of, they are all for: Cylinder # Injector Circuit High, Low, or Circuit/Open. If you read it with a generic scanner and provide the P code, I can tell you which one of the three it is.
The repair instructions for this indicate: 1. Check plug and wiring harness on injection valve 2. Check valve, replace as indicated Since it's for all of them, I would venture to say it's a wiring issue common to all of the injectors, or a faulty DME. |

Agreed. If the DME was the culprit it would be surprising that it could find its own fault. Also the fact that it threw it for all of the injectors and its so intermittent suggests wiring. How did you verify that the injectors weren't pulsing (you would need a scope to do so)?
