Any changes this year to the track? or paddocks? or all the same compared to 2013?
I will be there over the weekend. Looking forward to putting some very fast miles on the car |

I was out on the New DDC last weekend and the improvements are great! The curbing was not completed and some of apex's were coned off but we were able to get a good feeling for the track. The new section flows well and extra width & the new pavement are welcome additions. It is faster than it was before as I was only using 3 & 4 gears in my M3.The DDC is a lot of fun

I liked the old one, but it was too small for our cars. The new one looks sick, faster but still has the same feel as the old one

This'll be my first event of the season. Don't have my BBK installed yet. That won't happen until 23 May. In any case, I don't think I will need them at the DDT in 20 minute sessions.
I'll have them on for my first day on the GP track! Yeehaw!

I find that the DDC is much harder than the GP track as there are only 2 major braking applications a lap vs many more on the DDC.I run my street pads on the GP with no real compromise in performance.

Ya I'm gonna try out stoptech's street performance pads with the st40 kit & see how it goes. I have pagid's but don't have time to bed them, want to see how the stoptech holds up stock & get used to the kit before I amp it up. Will probably run pagids on the GP, even though you're right there's more cooldown between stopping on the GP.
