I prefer clockwise at MSR Houston. I had a scary off hitting that five feet of elevation while going CCW.

As a compromise, perhaps those that want to go clockwise can do so, whereas those that would like to drive counter clockwise can do so, too. This way everyone is happy.
In all seriousness, I vote to keep it clockwise |

rldzhao,
How often do you organize these track days? My friend who is on this forum [Iceback aka Steve, Alpine White E90 M3, Canadian guy who you may have met at a recent lunch gtg] told me about these ad hoc days you organize. I've got an E46 M3 that I run in NASA TT and would love to plan for a shakedown test or two during one of your track days after all my track mods are complete before my next NASA event. I've got a target lap time at MSRH that I'm trying to hit and when I do I'll know that I've got a car capable of winning. I'm tired of finishing 3rd or 4th! Let me know if this is a monthly thing, a summer thing or whenever the fancy strikes you thing. Would love to join you guys and check out your rides. |

PoBoy - This is Jeremy - Steve was checking my car for codes that day at lunch.
You need to come to the next event for sure - So far they have been monthly but I'll let Richard confirm this.

Hey Jeremy. Nice to put a screen name to your actual name...usually the other way around! Steve's M3 is now 100% legal in Texas after he sent the ECU back to ESS.
Yeah I 'm really anxious to get the car back on track to see how far I've come but my headers/exhaust are taking forever. Ordered in May and might get them by end of July, then I've got to send my ECU off to Bimmerworld and dyno tune. Finally got my wheels after manufacturing delays in Japan and my baseline dyno run is done too. Slowly but surely I'll get there. |

What happened to Steve anyway? I haven't heard anything from him in a couple of months.

Should sound like this at the end of the day (may have to click 'watch on youtube' link if the video is choppy): The only way I would have gone for the BW race exhaust is if I got the diffuser to package it all together at the back but that would have cost me too many modification points. There's a guy that runs in my class that has the BW exhaust though. Not a bad sound (I like the SS sound better) but a tad on the loud side. Last edited by PoBoyR6; 07-19-2011 at 05:44 PM.. |

The big hurdle was getting his car passed the emissions test. He's waiting for the Texas heat to die down before hitting up the track. I think he's got some carbon fiber mods he's saving up for too...

I'm hoping that it doesn't rain saturday despite the fact that we need it so much. Being that I have Friday off, I may drive my street tires/wheels out there and drop them off for use as wets.
