Thank you!! Well the vette is a torque monster and it's raw power. A lot of people talk about the lack of torque in the M3 and let me just say that it does not seem like it's missing anything!! It's a beast! If I had to compare the two cars by using alcohol as an analogy, I would say the vette is like Bacardi 151 that's been sitting out in the sun all day. The M3 is like a bottle of patron platinum that's been on ice for 2 days. Both will get you there at blistering speed, but the smoothness of the M is unmatched. When passing a car on the freeway this morning and glancing down at the speedo only to realize that I'm approaching the triple digit zone and had no idea I was going that fast is simply amazing. In the vette you KNOW you are traveling at this Speeds, the M is rather elusive and very confidence inspiring.

Anyhow, long story short, I fell in love with the M3, it was between the cts V coupe,( I didnt like how the rear quater panel looked, and the wheels look to small for the body, its automatic tranny blows!!) 2011 corvette z06, (the inside reminded me of my last vette, too much power for a dd,) Nissan GTR, ( costly to maintain, feels like the car is drving itsself, and end of the day its still a nissan) and I choose the M3, why? because I LOVE EVERYTING about the car.

.
Congrats on the nice ride, but your comment made no sense regarding the GT-R, but we'll leave that for another day.

Congrats on the M3.
BTW, What I did on my M3 is setup the speed alarm to bong at 90mph. That way I know when to back-off otherwise you'll never notice the speed.

When I see that I'm like ok the guy is not a car lover....more of a badge whore...so the Ford GT is only a Ford and a Viper is only a Dodge?

I might sound like an ass btw

Congrats on the m3 you made a good choice.

Wrong there. I am a car guy, Thats my hobby and I love an appreciate all cars. I stand by my statement. I k ow the GT R is a beast! I love the car but honestly the maintenance on it for me is not feasible being that it would have been my dd. I love the way the car sounds when the turbos spool the torque is unworldly. I respect your position though, thanks for the congrats too.
