that last video clip was incredible.... and the kit in terms of fitment makes ALL the other kits look like crap...
this is THE most interesting kit on the market for the v8 m3, the noise, the TQ, its just win. imo 2 turbo's on this car is a great achievement BUT, the price is massive and fitment will be a nightmare and it simply CANT be this clean.... harrop have created a winner here!! i WISH they'd do something for the s54 because id be all over it like a rash.

The Harrop kit is very popular in Australia and has done well, never heard of any issues with the system. I'm aware there quite a few selling in USA, and with the exchange rate the way it stands now ( currently our dollar is worth 73 cents US) its a bargain for US Customers. There are Distributors in USA including Mike Benvo (BPM Sport)
There have been no recent changes or updates to the tuning file or hardware that I'm aware of. |

Hi Dave, the car I am currently looking at purchasing had numbers in the mid 400's. Any idea why this might have been so far off your numbers?
It was done by Harrop WA and is on their fb page. What exhaust do you recommend for this if I am wanting to keep the raspy f1 style? Thanks |

Another alternative is to keep the stock rear and fit an X pipe which will give a lot more tone but a raspier sound. You will also get good gains to and it's a cheaper solution than a new rear section. The SC kit has quite some whine so even a louder exhaust won't dominate the cabin noise |

Thanks Dave, yes I was thinking maybe keeping the rear as is and modifying the mid section. Would a cat plus resonator still be raspy ?
Another random question, is you car engineered ? I'm not sure if the one I am getting is yet, and if its not I am tossing up whether to get it done or not (obviously before changing the exhaust !) |

Yes I meant the x pipe, but I wasnt sure does it come with new cats, or does it remove one or both sets ? I am not bother about meeting emisions, but I definately don't want smell, not sure how this system is on that front ? In regards to engineering I meant relating to vehicle registration ? I know some insurers require it ? |

Yes mine was had an engineering certificate for both the SC and a separate ones for the Harrop Brake Kit. Some insurers will not accept cars with forced induction, others like Shannons are fine, or NRMA for a daily driver, their only requirement is the car must be capable of being registered, meaning the SC install and everything else must pass otherwise they can cancel your policy and refund the premium if you bend the car or hit someone else. |
