Every time this thread is bumped and I open it...I'm disappointed.

I was just going to post as well. I called HMS Motorsport/Schroth USA today and they said they could not give me a definite release date. They said they "hoped to have them ready for this track season" but they could make no assurances.
The answer you got seems more hopeful than mine... |

Horrible!! Every time this thread gets bumped I get my hopes up. The way this has been, I don't think it's coming anytime soon. And if it does and I'm wrong, then I will be happy to have it!!!!!!

Just waiting for Lim3y to check his user control panel...I can just see the excitement on his face! Followed by disappointment! Honestly, I've gotten so used to my Schroth quick fits in my E46 that I am hesitant to drive my E90 on the track with the crappy lap belts.

Haha funny guy. Hopefully they will still sell me one. I use a CG lock on my E90 now its not great but better than nothing.

You might have seen in a thread several days ago my journey of frustration regarding this issue: Schroth QuickFit Pros won't be available for God knows how long, so consider a real 5- or 6-point harness setup with a dedicated Recaro fixed-back shell and a harness bar mounted to the B-pillars, then receiving input from people that harness bars are a half-arsed solution and probably more dangerous than safe, and that the mounting of anti-sub straps to a bracket on the seat mounting hardware (such as with Macht Schnell) is woefully inadequate, and that one should either stick with the stock factory safety systems or go all the way with a cage and harness mounted to the structural points of the car itself (goodbye daily driver).
So when will those QuickFit Pros be ready? |

I have also paid another $400 to close paradocs out of buying any Schroth equipment!
You get two of these: Here's a thought, the reason you want a harness is in the main part to hold you tight in the seat. If it was safety, you would be getting a full roll cage, otherwise, you are not changing all that much in terms of crash protection. If the OEM belt is intact, surely you can hold yourself down with the harness with the OEM belt buckled to use that restraint (you will need to clip in anyway to get rid of the chime - otherwise the YouTube videos will be really annoying!)
