Latest update. We are completely sold out now until at least December. I know this is frustrating. Still, don't understand why BE doesn't just manufacture double or triple the amount that they do at the moment. From one batch to another, the production time is about 6 months. I feel so bad. I only got to help those members or customers who pre-ordered. Anyone else, I couldnt't help.
Members looking for bearings have 3 options at the moment. 1. Wait till December but make sure to PM me or contact me reserve your set ahead of time. 2. Try looking for another vendor who may have them in stock. I don't know of any. Definitely, the prices will be much higher going this route. 3. Finally, use ACL bearings to replace your current ones with ARP bolts. I also sell ACL bearings. Thanks! |

Rod Bearings & Bolts
BE bearings are limited once again. Majority of our sets are already reserved. We have a few sets that are not reserved yet. So if you would like to reserve a set, act soon and send me a PM. Otherwise, you will have to wait another 3-4 months for the next batch to arrive.

I can't get a reply and ended up filing a paypal claim to get my deposit back. I have lost my patience with this. I have had to go back the shop doing my bearings 3 times to reschedule. They stay booked, and this is a pain in their ass. This is undoubtedly some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Happened last time when I ordered my set. He went on vacation too and his friend didn't answer any emails or ship any sets out. However he did come through though with the best price on them.

The frustrating part has been that I preordered back in Nov, and was told beg dec, then mid dec, then end of dec, then mid jan. Other vendors have had and since ran out of stock. I am okay with waiting but be realistic with your time frames. I have to schedule time off to drive my car to a shop 7 hours away. Not to mention I keep telling the shop owner what I am hearing via PM. It makes me look like a jackass constantly rescheduling, and I have to fight with my manager to cancel my vacation requests, and wait again.

It is quite frustrating for us as well as a vendor. I love BE and their products but they change ship dates on us at will. I wish I can vent about the whole procedure but I don't want to use this forum to do so. Arguably, they have designed one of the best bearings in the market. For that, they deserve all the credit in the world. But the delay in manufacturing, the huge divide between supply and demand, the fact that they are not the "manufacturer" and have to wait for ARP or Mahle to manufacture and send them their products all results in shipping delays almost every time. This is the ONLY reason why we have to change our ship dates as well. First, we were told by BE that the bearings will be in by the end of Nov. Then the beginning of Dec. Then the end of Dec. I actually just stopped calling them before I went on my vacation in the middle of December because I was getting the same answer over and over again. They finally have our bearings in stock and ready to be shipped but we get thrown another "curve ball." They have the bearings in stock but they DO NOT have bolts in stock until the end of FEB or early March. They said ARP changed the dates on them and they cannot do anything about it. What can I say? Yes, I agree. There may be some very big vendors out there that have more leverage and get their products a bit faster. But they also mark their prices up 20 to 30 percent than our prices. Hopefully, they can ramp up their production more or someone else can come in the market with a comparable and better product so that we can have more options to choose from and won't suffer from these delays. It's frustrating for me as a vendor and it's equally frustrating for you as customers. That's why we never charge for the product until we have it stock. We only take a $50.00 refundable deposit to secure it so that the customer's money is not tied up for so long. Abdul Last edited by Abdul; 01-30-2019 at 11:27 AM.. |
