I don't recall being aware of it being hyped up by Harrop or its partners or supporters, in terms of output figures at least. I saw a decent amount of gossip/rumor-related hype on multiple threads comparing it to the performance of other Eaton-derived systems in Audis/Corvettes etc tho.
It's not cheap tho, which is a major purchasing consideration. Although you def get what you pay for in terms of quality, which hopefully transforms into reliability etc too.

Interested in seeing more forum member reviews on this system.. this kit looks pretty good so far from the marketing material.

Looks beautiful!! Solid numbers as well!!
P.S. It would be great if all the owners chime in and give some perspective on their experience and how it compares to ESS for the buyers such as myself! Last edited by gouda-buddh; 02-18-2015 at 01:50 PM.. |

Yes, on a 10.0:1 CR engine with direct injection.
I would be wary of trying that on pump gas on a 12.0:1 port injection motor. If tuned for E85, then yes, but then I would be concerned about the stock skinny connecting rods not designed for the sort of low end torque that would result. The Cadillac CTS-V with a very similar motor should be a nice, practical family car. |

Water meth would help raise the octane to allow some additional timing, but would not yield the same as E85 unless the gas was largely replaced with meth rather than supplemented by it. I have run a Vishnu water/meth system on my n/a 08M3 for a couple of years, but its 2 nozzles in the intake are nothing like the Fluid Motor Union system above. That is beautiful.

Here's a picture of her sleeping next to our dirty frozen white M5 development car. The M3 is faster but not for long!

I'll leave this here for now. Will be making a separate thread on it soon, but as you can see it did very well on the dyno last Thursdsy. 6PSI, 91 octane, and tiny dyno fans. The lower run is an old dyno from last year.

Nice one Mike. Is that low end torque down because of heat soak/little fans? Also 6PSI is .5 up on standard 5.5 PSI isn't it? Finally, any word of stage 2?
