Great, great car Awesome! I'm so excited for you. I also just tried to hear your baby sing but the cruel folks at YouTube will not co-operate. Again, congrats

Ok, youtube seems to have screwed with my video of awesome's car, which already worked for 20 viewers tonight, but now seems to be not working.
Instead of your regular programming you can watch me do a few laps at Summit Point in my E36 M3. I'm still troubleshooting awesomem3 video from tonight.

I'm not sure what the deal was, it was working fine, then it quit, now it's working again. I pulled the apostrophe out of the title, sometimes that messes with html language.
....now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I noticed by the speaker in the door with the chrome ring that you bought the upgraded sound system. Let us all know how it sounds and if you think it was worth the $1,900 option price.

BER?
Have the dealer tech verify if it has BER.
Thanks.

Greg, I think it's spelled b-e-e-r.
That's for celebrating after the drive.

Looks awesome! Congrats! My concern is the reflectors, does it look like they can be removed easily?

Fifth, there was no obvious way to remove the reflectors like exposed screws or anything like that. I'd have to imagine that they just pop off like some interior trim pieces. However, I'd certainly want to look at a Bentley's service manual or talk to a service guy before I started prying on those ugly things. I hope they aren't glued in or screwed in from behind, because then removal will be a huge PITA. For me the solution is going to be going with body colored flush plugs to replace the reflector. The alternative would be to replace the yellow reflector with a clear one. Or go extreme and replace the entire bumper cover, which is a fairly large piece.
The reflectors are as ugly or uglier in person as they are in photos. It's sad BMW couldn't find a better way to make the car legal in the states. The only other disappointing thing was the front brake calipers. I had mentioned this on a previous thread based on photos. However seeing the ugly calipers in person didn't change my mind. I think some aftermarket or 135 (if they fit) calipers will be on my upgrade list. The car itself is beautiful in person inside and out. The 19's look great on Awesome's car. I might regret getting the 18s. However, as I've said all along, of all the options, wheels are the easiest to change. I can't wait to get my own car in a month. Don't take my two knocks above as an overall negative impression on the car. I'm being very picky to find anything negative to discuss. It looked great and sounded great. Hopefully I'll be able to talk awesome into giving me a ride. I promise, I'll take off my dirty shoes and wear clean socks.

I thought it was only the lower seat cushion that was the same as the 335 sport pack, not the side bolsters on the backreast as well. Is that what you were stating?

nice tell them to keep it that way and ask your CA to give you a couple quarts of oil, so you can top it off during break in....are you really going to wait until the weekend to pick it up?
