It sounds to me many on this sector don't know what they need in their life. I've personally owned a 2010 C63 with rear-diff option. I've driven it across Canada. Quite comfortable during the journey as you would expect from any merc models. The only up side of it was manic straight line acceleration and engine noise. The steering wheel was too loose, exhaust noise became irritating after 30 minutes of driving or if your mood is under the weather. You would go through a pair of rear tires within 7000 kms. You will travel more frequently between a petrol station and somewhere else. For any rainy days, even if it was just a drizzling you spin. If you turn too sharp, you spin. Mind you mine has the diff, it gets even worse cause every time you got near throttle it kills the power thus the fun.
To me an AMG is just for others to appreciate the madness of the engineers, teenage gather together to post videos on YouTube. It scares the driver and gives the elders an heart attack if you accidentally rev over 4000 rpm in front of a manor. As a result I've crashed it and switched to a bimmer. Should've got into an M3, but never mind I am now contemplating about the colour combination. Maybe Hellrot with rust brown, just to make it look like an Italiano. To conclude, people out there lay out your priority list. If you need a car that shout about itself while makes the owner think he's cut a deal, get an AMG. If you want to be happy and enjoy driving get a driver's car which comes with an M badger.

Sorry to hear you crashed the C63. I'd be careful with the M3 as well as it can also be a little tail happy for an inexperienced driver (not saying that's you) with the nannies turned off. The best investment anyone driving a C63 or M3 can make is spending a great deal of time at the track.
Also I think the 2010 model was a little less refined and tail happy than the 2012 coupe version of the C63. Having said that, the M3 is still the better pure driving car.

Idk why you even have an M3 lol. Between these two it's all personal preference. Would be hard to exploit the differences on public roads anyway

Not following this discussion any longer... who is worried about the M3 being outdated? What buzzes are you referring to?

My fully optioned C63 coupe on order (fully loaded with everything) came in at $78k MSRP. My M3, also fully loaded, came in at $89k.

I also had the chance to drive the C63 coupe and was extremely impressed. Unfortunately it wasn't the upgraded version, but it's hands down better than the sedan. I agree that at the end of the day the M3 is more of a driver's car, but the C63 is better for daily commuting and in a straight line. Both cars are among the best in the world, imo!

The 2012 C63, coupe and sedan, are improved over the 2010 model in many respects and worth the premium IMO. Whether it is "better" than an E90 M3 is a different matter. I wouldn't say better, just different. I think the M3 is the "better" car if its your DD and a track machine. If it is solely DD car, I think its a toss up and depends on which you like better... C63 has more torque and faster around town... M3 has a higher revving and more race car'ish engine. You can't lose either way.

So you bought a C63 and not an M3 or am I misreading this?
