Great job! On a scale 1-10 how difficult was it?

Intake install being a 1 and pulling the trans/motor being a 10. I say a 2.5, just a hair more difficult than doing the spark plugs.

Agree 100%

If anything it's more annoying than difficult. The harness under the plenum doesn't leave much room to work with, especially if you have large hands.

TA replacement is so over sensationalized it's amazing. My first time doing it I was in and out within 90 minutes following the DIY.

Ranking in difficulty (1 easiest - 10 difficult):

1. Engine air filter change
1.5 Oil Change
2. Spark plug change
2. Battery change
2.5 Throttle actuators

Finally got around to hardwiring my radar detector. Now sitting up high and clean.

Wound up having to use additional wire and solder it in to extend the mirrorwire cause you have to tap into the overhead light/sunroof switch console (the mirror plugs don't work).

Decided I'll run with the 9500IX until Uniden comes out with one with arrows like Escort/Valentine.

There I was, the wife and I took the M3 to Macon for some shopping. It’s about a 60 mile round trip and I said to her, “You know, you’ll see a lot of BMW,s around but you see another E9x M3 around here.” She said, yeah. And then the unthinkable happened....

We were in Warner Robins, and what pulled up behind me? An E92 M3 in black! What are the odds in middle Earth (Georgia)?

It works with cic Navi and, unless you retrofitted one in, you have ccc Navi that this won’t work with.

Put in my new PreCat O2 sensors, car runs so much smoother on coldstart now. Was rough and shaking the entire car.

While having the heat shield off, it's obvious my DCT pan had a leak.

Any of you Vancouver members know a shop that can take this job on before I do research myself ?

(Yes it looks like that sensor caught on fire possibly)

Why wouldn't the mirror plugs work? I have a Blendmount and Mirrortaps ready to install and don't have a sunroof.

I'm in Athens. Might be the only E93 in the whole town, which is fine by me.

Also, got some major wheel repair done. I think the previous owner may have substituted curb feelers by using the outside of the wheels...

Just not enough room to really work in there for me. You may have better luck though.

Seems others had similar experiences when I looked online. Don't need to have a sunroof either, just need to be able to use the overhead lights to get access to the wiring.
