That's the last car meet I go to at night. Some dude got all salty because he got told to leave cause he was doing donuts in his Nissan, about 15 minutes later, buddy comes back with a 3rd Gen Jeep SRT, shoots a couple rounds in the air and leaves.

Me too. Their prices have come down on certain items too making them on par or cheaper than other vendors.

Yeah, happens quite often in the Greater Vancouver Area/Metro Vancouver. Since this has happened they want to move the meet location which sucks because it's one of the few meets left in my city. Everything else isn't worth the drive waiting in traffic.

Spent some time detailing my exhaust tips and getting rid of the pitting that the previous owner neglected.

400 grit sandpaper, then 600 grit, then 1,000 grit, then a cone polisher with some compound, and then some Si02 coating.

All shiny and smooth now!

Fixed my unaligned mirrors. Found a rare video of someone following the tutorial Malek posted. Did it myself and it worked.

For those wondering on how to do it.

Push the side view mirrors forward on both sides.
Press the mirror folding button inside
You'll hear two-three pops while they're folding and then they should be aligned again.

Went to the self serve car wash. Pull out of the prep bay, rain immediately comes down. Make it home 10 minutes later and proceeds to wipe down and detail said car again. FML.

Anyone bother to take down a plate # and call the cops? Not that hard.

Had some trouble with one of the paddles as it didn't fit the piece that it screws into. I had to take a drill and essentially carve out more space for it to fit properly. Other paddle fit just fine. The "M" button doesn't quite fit like the stock button so doesn't stick out as much as the other buttons but it still works the way it should. Hopefully it doesn't continue to bother me too much. Other than that, it was a lot of fun making the switch.
Also got the Carly for BMW so did some coding. The main thing I wanted was for the side mirrors to fold in when the car was locked, to control the windows with the key fob and brightened the halos. Played a regular DVD (Anchorman) for the first time and I saw an option to keep the DVD playing while in motion but that sounds like trouble.

Dashcam footage got plate number, as it was one of those BC Park Plates, but the first shot went off while my friends and I were standing behind the car a few feet away lol. We called the police. They had the entire area surrounded. Supposedly buddy got caught already.

I think iND has a tutorial post on this forum or on their website.

Took it for a track day for the first time, embarassed a few f8x Ms and baked the brakes :
I loved the way the car handles, stock zcp is just perfect for a daily and occassional tracking. The motor felt awesome, the 6mt too. Easy to heel toe, which I couldn't do in my previous 325i due to worse throttle response.
But WTF is wrong with these brakes I don't know. Did like 2 laps and the pads overheated causing the same for the rotors and fluid boiling. I have new Hawk HPS 5.0 with stock rotors and it seems they all need to be replaced. I guess I'll go with oem pads this time.

Stock pads will likely fail quicker. The HPS is not a real road race pad. A great upgrade for some spirited street use but not built for heavy track days from my experiences. Also, from what I have read, the E9x M3’s brakes are not really up the the task given the power and chassis performance the car is capable of. Time for a BBK?
