HP4? Thats real cool stuff to ride. Every time I see you US-guys are buying such supersport bikes it comes to my mind that you're never would have the chance to run them legal up to the top, aside on tracks. Didnt that bother ya'll?

The same is true of pretty much every car currently made. The top speed limit on a US highway is an 85 mph stretch of road in Texas. I can't think of a car built that can't exceed that limit, most can go well beyond it. Somehow, high performance vehicles continue to sell in the US, so obviously not too many American drivers are bothered.

When you say “you US-guys” I assume you also mean us Oz guys as well.

We get shot if we go above the posted speed limit (max 110 Kms) and get caught. Up until about five years ago I was at Eastern Creek at least once a month. Had two partial knee replacements about 5 years ago and am not confident enough with the strength in my knees/thighs to go full noise around a track anymore.

I just “try”not to go too silly on the road, unless I’m out away from cities/towns.

You're absolutely right.

The opportunity to use the full potential of any high performance vehicle legally in the US is extremely sparse, especially in very densely populated cities like mine.

Even though I only get to really "play" with my toys about 3- 4 times a year (at the track or on roads when I venture out of town), I can still appreciate the abilities and magnificence of these fine machines.

I believe we're all members of this forum and visit this thread is because we have "above average" tastes and deserve to spoil ourselves occasionally after working hard towards the things we want to enjoy for the short time we're here.

And more importantly, we all liked to be “seen” , whether it be in our nice flash cars or on our bikes that can go 300 kms/ hour

To be honest: I didnt know the actual speed limits Down Under, your country is onto my dance card, but within the next 3 or 4 years. I wont spare you out, that wasnt intentional

I know whaddya mean, I own a ZX12R with 173HP and an achieved top speed of 312kph and I am very glad to be free to fly subsonic as the traffic dense allows that or when Im into the mood to go on hunt.

Will collect my experience with patience onto snork speeds onto long highways into SoCal and Vegas during my 3 week holiday at the west coast.

Arguably not a car, but those silly electric Smart cars can't exceed 85. I think I got one to around 75 going downhill.

Just sayin'

After finding an ancient Clif Bar with a 1998 expiration date; I sent them a letter asking if they wanted it back. They sent me a call tag to ship it to them and sent me a dozen new bars in return.

FML-390F rack came in last Friday. Built up a platform for it using stall mats I already had for my bench and dumbells. Need some more plate storage shorter safety straps (already on order). Oh...and it isn't resting on the PVC. It's actually 18-24" away.

Not sure if some of you are aware, but Amazon is having their annual sale that ends at midnight. This are what I ordered today and I figured I'd share with all my fellow enthusiasts. I'm cheap but couldn't pass these deals up, lol.

I believe you need to be a Prime member, but I have a link for a free 30-day trial to bypass that if you're not already a member: https://amzn.to/2Lnf2Ql

Huge jugs of Castrol 5W-30 synthetic oil for only $22.14 at checkout! Ordered 3 so I'm set on oil changes for a while.
https://amzn.to/2LkpEiA

Awesome dash cam that's only $69 'til midnight, on sale from $150.
https://amzn.to/2LcUs51

Complete 16pc Chemical Guys car wash kit with foam canon for only $64, usually $100.
https://amzn.to/2NUnRiZ

70pc magnetic screwdriver kit for only $17. Good for all the torx bits on these damn cars.
https://amzn.to/2zOVGyU

I have a similar tool set and bring it everywhere. Has deep-well sockets, torx bits, etc. 192 pieces can fix just about anything on these cars for $148 at checkout.
https://amzn.to/2NZUQCa

My buddy bought this pressure washer for $200 a few months ago and said it kicks ass. It's half off right now.
https://amzn.to/2mpLTWz

12pc ratcheting wrench set for only $89 at checkout. These are convenient as hell.
https://amzn.to/2NWv164

Adjustable gear wrench set for $97 at checkout. Not a necessity, but will be nice to have at this price.
https://amzn.to/2L1BxLg

Anyone else find some good deals? I'm open to buying a few more things...
