high mileage ESS-595 kit update...
160,000kms / 100,000 miles on the ESS kit. Just did drive belt and replaced the belt drive pullies here: https://esstuning.com/maintenance-upgrade/s85/ also replaced the air filter which actually took a bit to find. AJ at ESS was very helpful with the parts.

Add me to the list! AA stage 2 being installed now; better late than never to the party.

What Supercharger kit to buy? VT2-650, G1+ kit, G2 kit, or AA Gen 2 Lvl 3?
Hey Guys,
I have a 2009 e92 m3 with full bolt ons and I am looking to get a supercharger kit but don't know exactly which one to get. Trying to decided between a ESS VT2-650, a G1+ kit, a G2 kit, or an Active Autowerke Generation 2 Level 3 kit. (Are VF supercharger kits even worth considering? I Don't know much about them.) Is the VT2-650 really worth the extra $3000 for just 25 more hp? I assume the 650 is much better at cooling and whatnot vs the 625 which would be perfect for me. I track my car regularly and need good cooling, will the VT2-625 or 650 provide enough cooling for a long hot track day? Anybody have recommendations or experience with these non VT2 kits? I might go for a methanol kit but I'm not sure if the extra power is worth the increased wear and tear on the car. Plus I would still like to daily drive it in the summer, Will supercharging it with a G1+ or G2 or AA Gen 2 Lvl 3 Kit make it a pain in the ass to daily drive? I have heard from others with ESS 625 kits say they still daily their cars regularly. Any input, experiences, recommendations and thoughts are much appreciated! Thanks, Derek |

Harrop FTW
Got one of the last Harrop SC's for my garage queen and so far very happy with it. Had a few minor issues with install but once sorted she is really putting it down. Still need some fine tuning but getting there! And that whine....

Nice, tbuck. I clocked you at 4.82 seconds on that 0-60.
Reporting in - a couple weeks into ownership of my Harrop on the e93 platform. factory air box, test pipes. As others have described, it gives the e9x m3 sportbike-like maneuverability on the freeway. |

Harrop Install 10-26-2022
Having used Harrop installed via DrFerry by Performance Technic and SW support from Mike @BPM
Honestly, not going well started on 10-26-2022 and still there today, fighting a breakup between 5-6K rpm and boost pegs at 4psi. Will make a post in official thread today. |
