has anyone heard in person some mean sounding exhausts for the 335i N55?
i want a mean, low growl, loud exhaust! i just dont know of any!
ive searched and...

AMS or AE sounds the loudest to me, but still isnt very loud or youtube just sucks and doesnt do it justice... im sure you guys will know of some. will i have to go with Straight Pipes.
i dont want to get Catless DP's

straight pipes would be cool and cheaper...

The single 4" downpipe on the N55 is easier to install/remove than the twin pipes on the N54, i would look into it...

Terry is getting awesome results with the stage-2 N55 software, DP, Meth = 370whp (435hp @ 15% loss)

i know ive been reading that. i dont want to run meth tho. i would rather be full catless than run meth. lol

i just dont like the idea of running wires thru the car to the engine. and also spraying wate? into it...

FrankiE90 has pretty sounding setup for his N55. Berk catless downpipe & Vanguard exhaust. You can hear my setup tomorrow? Its somewhat similar to Frankies but tad bit louder.

okay cool! was looking at the site and saw your old white color with the vangaurd exhaust. your louder? you have dps as well?

Ye i have ar catless, vanguard, removed resonators. And damn they still hasnt updated their website lol

I would say it was my dad. They have a AW X5 as well, and he has a Ferrari, but no Ferrari badge on the back. Crazy.

I wondered the same thing, I think everyone does, until they figure out how it works, and then why it works so well on turbo engines.

Terry is coming up with a version that uses the the window-washer reservoir (window washer fluid is primarily meth+water anyway) and has a easily removable mount for the pump, the JB4 works with the meth controller to regulate the injection, so it will handle everything, you don't have to worry about controlling the spraying of meth+water into your engine. It also has integrated safety measures so you can boost 17-18psi with meth and if meth stops pumping (clog or run dry) the safety will kick you down to lower map (probably map1, 13psi)

After I get my wheels and suspension, it will be the next and last power mod, people are making 400whp on JB4, DCI, & M/W Injection...(add back in 15% loss = 470hp

)

ill be happy with dps and vanguard for a while then move up to meth. i think 400whp is ganna be enough for me.. lol

we should discuss this tom iwanna know more about it

my mom will be the primary driver

so with the z4 the only mods would be rear camera, smarttop, and reflectors

so no jb4 lol

I need to drive the SLK and get the rates..
