Yeah, I haven't moved around since early yesterday. I haven't even been in the garage. I'll be out tomorrow afternoon when the ice is gone.......Phil

I've never seen this many cars 'lose control' on the streets ever. (I even lived in Ohio, Connecticut and Wisconsin). You got "normal" drivers with a small percentage of "psychos" that think that their truck/suv is designed for this shit and can go fast through it (not!) and those that think that safe is going "5" mph when everyone is managing 30....WTF, huh?.. Since hospitals don't get an "off day", I had to drive over a hundred miles in this crap the last 3 days, it was frustrating to say the least. Obviously, I used my beater. Can't wait to get the M off the tender and on the road again. (My pressure washer is going to get some serious work the next few weeks)

my M has been in the garage safely since monday...have to say the X5 (OEM tires still) has been taking it like a champ. the only plus side of having to drive to the hospital every morning is that at 6am, there usually isn't much traffic yet in weather like this. friday morning with the fresh snow was a rally-style drifting paradise, albeit in the X5. kind of funny to oversteer through huge empty streets downtown in a big fat SUV!

I don't envy you guys. Not having to go out when it's like it has been is just one of the many benefits of being retired. My wife and I went to our local barbecue place(in the Accord) this evening for dinner. It was the first time we'd been out since Monday.
I've been going to C&C Dallas pretty regularly. I don't think anyone has showed up with an LF-A yet. Take care and stay safe.

My experience with Motorwerks has been so-so. I tried them out (more out of convenience since they're in the Galleria) and ended up having their work fixed by Driver Source, who I would recommend.

I'm not a huge clear bra fan but if I were going to install one, it would be when the car was BRAND NEW. Once the car's been driven even a little bit (particularly in a place like Houston with all the random road debris), the window of opportunity has been missed IMO.

He clear bra my M3 two years ago for $625+tax. I got coverage on the bumper, hood, fenders, side-mirrors, door edges, and he threw in a small area on the rear bumper (prevents scratches when people are loading stuff like suitcases). Sonny and his assistant did a good job on my TL, too. I had to pay a little bit more than I did on the M3 but negotiated the price I wanted to pay. Tell him Frank (who had the M3 and TL) referred you. |

Tell the cops about the repreat offender. They'll sit and wait for him one morning.

call the apartment's towing company (they probably have one assigned) and say that the car is taking up the handicapped spot
