Hi would the specs in VS-5RS clear a Brembo GT 6 pot?

There are multiple Brembo GT kits available for the E9X M3. Our 18x9.5 ET22 VS-5RS clears the 1N1.9003A kit + the other rotor variants with no spacers for example. This is the most common kit you'll see run on these cars.

These wheels will not clear the 1T1.9010A 6 piston Brembo kit which is an updated caliper.

Another thing to note with these kits is that the paired rear brakes have a large mounting bolt that causes our 18" rear wheels to not clear the bolt. This applies to the following rear kits: "2P1.9013A, 2P1.9060A" REAR GT/GT-S/GT-R 4 piston 380x28mm

Hope that helps,

-Tom

Thanks Tom. Am considering to go 19” instead.

Would I need spacers based on specs below on the E92 M3 with ST XTA coilovers with the VS-5RS on 265/30/19 and 285/30/19

Front: 19x9.5" ET22
Rear: 19x10.5" ET22 or ET25

With the 19x9.5 ET22 up front, you shouldn't need any spacers to clear the ST XTA suspension or those Brembo brakes. The rear fitment would also be fine without spacers.

The rear offset for those wheels would be ET25.

Here are some photos a customer sent us with this exact setup. Big thanks to Santiago!

Wheel details:
  • 18x9.5 ET22 SM-10s in Satin Black, square fitment.
  • 275/35/18 RE71r's
  • 15mm rear spacer (purely for aesthetics)
  • Apex Red center caps
Additional mods:
  • H&R Race Springs
  • -1.5 degrees front and rear camber

Thanks for the question. The 18x10 ET25 will clear that AP kit (13.01.10037) for the E9x M3 without any spacer required.
