Niiiiice!! Beautiful collection of cars!
Is that high beam assist option the one that comes with a camera near the rear view mirror? I thought mine would have that option since I got all the options, but I guess it's not available in Canada. It's nice you kept the ED plates. And how did you get the 1M licence plate?!? Did you have to buy it from someone or were you really the only one in Texas to get it first? I'm guessing you guys don't need to have license plates in the front? [/QUOTE] THANKS for compliments. 1- High beam assist only come compass mirror ,garage door opener. edit . just notice it does have camera. 2- i got the 1 m plates at $75.00 a year. i got lucky. 3- we should have front plates but i take my chances since its fix it ticket. I know I'm late to this party but finally got my hands on an M.
Most guys have Ferraris and Lambo posters on their wall but only car poster I had as a 16 year old was an M3. Feel so blessed and overwhelmed at the same time. So grateful to God and my family. As soon as I got the car I took it to my detailer for thorough cleaning ... stage 1/opticoat & mods in few weeks.

Also... Numerous forum members have switched to the 255/275 combo on ZCP wheels. The regular 18" and 19" wheels are 8.5 / 9.5 widths and also runs the 245/265 tire sizes. ZCP is 9 / 10 width. The extra width the ZCP wheels works very well with the wider 255/275 tire size. BMW had cost and efficiency considerations when choosing their tire specs (didn't make sense to switch to a different tire size for the ZCP option package). I have tried many different wheel and tire combos on the car and almost all performed better than OEM (except for the 20" wheels/tires I had briefly). My point is that there is a lot of knowledge around here and it would serve you well to be open to it. All auto manufacturers have to make compromises in order to please their accountants and appeal to a wide spectrum of buyers. Tweaking the car to better suit your needs can be very successful (and can fail if done incorrectly...). The BMW engineers did not set out to build the best car - at any cost -.... that's what Pagoni does.

For Winter tires: As stated above, the recommendation was driven by the fact that snows run narrower and can be difficult to install on the 9/10" wheels in OEM tire sizes, plus, the last time I checked, snows aren't available in OEM sizes. I recommend going with 18's in the winter and narrower is better for snow traction. I would however run 255/275 on ZCP wheels if I were to run snows on them.

Question is will this 255/275 fit the competition package? I mean with the wider tires n taller sidewall will it touch the frame of the car since the competition pkg is already lowered by 10mm

The overall diameter of the front wheel may graze the back side of the fender liner at full lock in some instances if spacers are installed. No issue with suspension compression. Lots of people run coilovers at ride heights much lower than ZCP with those tire sizes.

who's still here from the class of 2013?
I still got mine, recently had the following parts installed/replaced at MRF Engineering: rod bearings, solid rear subframe mounts, Vibra-Technics engine mounts, M-Factory CF driveshaft and stainless steel brake lines Picking her up at Envious Detailing after one-step polish and Modesta BC-04 ceramic coating |
