Yeah, I'm definately not feeling that painted mesh in the front air dam. Its over kill and takes away from the clean smooth look of the basic M3.
The badges... well I'm a fan of de-badged cars myself. Also, just to elaborate on the exhaust setup. I think that carbon fiber diffuser they equipped back there is hot. I was talking solely about the merged quad tips, I felt that was a bit blasphemous on a M. I like the quads on the M3 anyway, tradition aside, and I wouldn't want to shortchange it. |

ACS used to make lovely cars, remember those star wheels so common on E36 and E39s? Those were the days. Who ever is their designer now - they are ruining bmw cars, not making them look better. About only thing I kinda liked is the grill added to the big air intake - quite poor effort after spending all that time modifying the whole car! IMHO BMW has done the MAXIMUM to modify that body shell without going overboard (and even than, look at those over designed rear view mirrors!) - and any attempt to improve that should be reengeneering it to more subtle, like Aplina does. But they'll always have their hairy chested clients I guess.

The issue I have with ACS body kits is that they are very very expensive and at that price level they should be the complete bumper or skirt and not a stick-on part that makes the body looks cheap and unfinished.

This is the kind of crap you'd expect to see on a Civic, not an M3.
The main point of the M3, IMHO, is that is a wolf in sheep's clothing, This makes the car look like a wolf in transvestite hooker's clothing (on crack) ![]() |

![]() Seriously, are there any engine mods out there for when we pick up our M3s and want some more tunable power?

Look through the other M3 forums. I posted some feedback I got from GruppeM about their upcoming e92 M3 Intake. Expect to pay for it though. Their last intake for the e46 M3 was made of carbon fiber and quite costly.

I thought I would bump this quesiton....I cant' find any discussion on it after searching. Does anyone know if there are some euro tuners that are looking at an engine mod yet? Obviously it is extememly early...but I for one am already getting antsi and thinking about what I can look forward to in regards to some increases in HP and torque.

It looks terrible. M3 is a beautiful car on its own and they are really trying too hard. I don't understand what they were trying to acheive. Btw, the spoiler looks absolutely terrible on an M.
