It seems safe to assume that the problem will continue to recur on this particular car. Perhaps they did not install the replacement pump correctly. Or perhaps the fuel tank/cap has a small leak that they have not identified. The last possibility that I could think of is that there is a short somewhere that's burning out the pump (assuming the pump has actually failed). At least the pump, if installed by a dealer, get a 2 year warranty so if it keeps failing at the current rate, you would not be out of pocket for the part (I believe you still pay for labor, though).

Exactly my thought process! Either something is making them go bad, or the pumps are not wrong and there is indeed a leak in pressure somewhere. If it's failed 7 times, it will most likely fail an 8th time...statistics and probabilities dictate so on a part barely ever fails.

The car looks too good to have paint work on it, but one can never be too sure
Looked at mine last night. It's the same way, just a bit of clear on that leading edge underneath. My car is 100% factory paint.
