I think they would've renamed it if they were after a different market. Probably between the c7 z06 and srt10

This should be in the same price at the GTR if they do it properly, a revised 2JZ, rwd, dct would be crazy on this.

Yeah it'll definitely be a beast. Z06 has always been a huge performance bargain, we'll see what the price looks like this time. I look forward to seeing them on the street.

I can't even imagine how many high end cars the new Z06 will embarrass. I suspect anything most any car south of a half million won't be able to match the performance put down by this new monster coming from GM.

I really curious about what engine it'll come with. I really hope it's a mod friendly turbo motor like the 2JZ.

The Japs are notorious for putting out radical prototypes and then the final product is some bland PoS. Just look at the Subaru WRX.

I just saw this in Detroit. Looks great from the side and back. The doors open at a slight angle and flow into the rear duct, very cool design.

Anyone else see resemblance of the head / tail lights to the last supra. That front looks like it came off of an F1 car which i like.

///M going to have to step their game up a notch.
M is going to have to step up considerably depending are the class.
Im thinking its going to be in the GTR class and Ms just arent there.
Tail lights dont remind me at all of the old supra.

Im thinking GTR actually...but someone said itll be considerably lower which makes me worry.

Count me in for THAT ^^^
Now..its weird for me to say this..so hypocritical..but I totally agree.
When i saw the vette, and it was that yellow one..i was like
The only vette ive ever loved was the 67 corvette stingray, so this is a game changer.

Yup. But theyd call it the 3JZ-GTE

I wouldnt say that. The GTR R36 will be out in a few years so we still have to see. But the vette is a monster once again.

Toyota does.
On one forum, one guy posted the proto supra as the prototype, then he posted another pic of a Camry as the production

I agree. It looks too cartoonish to me. On the other hand, c7 z06 looks like a real thing. By just looking at that picture, without even knowing whats under that hood, its just badass
