Test pipes are all the same.. Irrelevant of how it connects it serves one purpose and that is deleting the primary cats. Go with the cheapest!

The MRF Velaforza (catless X + mufflers) gave their N/A 6MT shop car +25 HP/TQ on the dyno with just switching from the stock exhaust. With just the exhaust and OE tune, that car made over 400 RWHP on the dyno. And I've been in that car, which surprised the hell out of me. Waaaaaay faster than when my DCT M3 car was stock (365 RWHP).
That's what I've heard, too. I think, and you'll probably agree, that a bit of it is due to the location/shape of the x-pipe on the MRF exhaust. I think the dyno I saw was 403 RWHP. Insane. I was really hoping Malek had his car at the shop when I went up there last week, but no dice.

Performance wise, I like it better than the GT4; looks wise, it's a close second to the Akra from the rear. You have the best of both worlds since you paired the pipe with the Akra slip.

Sadly, I imagine it would be much too loud for me, though. The Akra Evo was already borderline in bumper-to-bumper traffic on my daily drive, hence my change to test pipes, which I'm enjoying at the moment.

I personally have seen 18-21rwhp with just the Turner Test Pipes. Is the MRF or catless setups worth more sure, but you are on the low end IMHO, respectfully..

Are there any difference between the ACM Test pipe or the Macht test pipe ?

Also what do you guys think about the SuperSpring (Both TTP and secondary axle decatted) - im scared it'll be too loud with the meisterchaft GT exhaust. anyone have any sound clips ? i couldn't find any on youtube..

thanks !
Any reason why you don't go the custom fabrication route? Cheaper, same HP and torque gains and if welded, essentially, leak free. Can't say the same for the clamp setup. They're not prone to leaks but, you've got to ensure the shop installs them correctly.

I think I heard or read somewhere that they are going to be in the $500 range. I would send them a PM or email to confirm that though. That's if you can get them to return a email/PM

+1 10-15 is waaaay too conservative. It's more lik 20-30, more with tune.

Yeah I wasn't comfortable with clamps, got mine welded. Custom fab is definitely a way to go, I hear its around 250 installed. I was more comfortable going with a proven vendor though, so I got turner's used for 300.

Thanks Nick.

Price will be $449.

Cheaper as part of a package with the Evolve tune.
