Let me know what you think. I'll be getting mine in a day or so to replace the regular stage 2. I hear cold start drive has be completely smoothed out so VANOS adjustments have be made. Car should be even more rev happy.

OP: thanks for taking the time to do such a detailed post!

I'm running BPM stage 2 dev as well. Using Torque on android, I confirmed that it's +10hp/+15lb-ft over stage 1. +20 over stock seems totally reasonable. The dev tune is awesome, huge improvement over stage 1.

Using the parts in my sig I got ~310lb/ft and ~390hp which I'm happy with. Seems in line with what the OP got.

Nice numbers. I recently just Dyno'd my car with TMS Test Pipes, AE Performance Exhaust, Dinan Stg. 2 Tune, Intake & Pulley and hit 382whp. Hoping for 400whp with a more aggressive tune from Evolve!

Pretty good numbers. I have similar mods and a BPM Stg. 2 tune. With 93 octane, 400 whp would be possible.

I hate California.

What's the difference between Stage II and Dev Tune?

Very nice numbers there. What's the difference between the dev and the Stage II?

Your going to love the Evolve tune, its an original piece of work, not a copy.

The dev is their new stage 2. It's the new hotness basically. I didn't have the old stage 2 so I can't compare. All I know is that from stage 1 to dev tune is a huge, very awesome difference. Even had power bumps, as I mentioned.

I wanted to get close to the crank hp # they advertised, which I'm pretty sure tune+test pipes+filter does. My numbers aren't super accurate, but I think they're close enough. End of the day the car is fantastic now and I'm 100% happy with how it drives, so that's all that matters right?

So what you're saying is evolve provided BMW with the factory tune since they're the original?
