Unofficial Listing of Integration Levels (I-Levels) and SW Versions

Mike,

Not sure if you're still updating this list, but I requested the dealer upgrade me to the latest integration version on 6/14/2013. I received E89X-13-03-504, which is much newer than the stuff you have listed up top.

It was a rather substantial upgrade; I dropped the car off at 8am and it was not done by 5pm when they closed! Had to run overnight and the tech said it took about 11 hours to complete. I came from E89X-10-09-511 (October 2010 build date).

11 hours is honestly impossible. I don't buy it. Unless the session failed multiple times and they had to keep trying.

The latest version at the dealership is 49.4 and it still contains 240E

My guess is they didn't get started right away. No matter, I had a brand new X5 loaner to 'suffer' with for the rest of the day...

Regardless, the 240E hype is justified. Cold-starting is improved, and driveability at low speed is definitely better. And the intake sound has changed a bit too, as some said.

my plant integration level is e89x-13-07-503! i have ista/p 49.4 but won't work in coding this car ! do i need 50.4? thank you

I just got my car back from the dealer.

New Software Integration Level is E89x-13-07-505. Still 240E or is this one better??

240E. It will likely be the last software version available for the E9x M3.

Hey Mike, any new data for the list? Obviously there's stuff like E89X-13-xx-xxx. Curious if there's anything newer than 240E or what the latest is.

240E is still the most current version and will likely not be updated.

Unfortunately there isn't. You can tell the minimum your car has based on year or if you know roughly the last time the dealer updated the car.

Yes there is. It can be read from the key by service dept. No need to hook the car up to anything. Just make sure you put the key in the car while you driver there.
