And here I was thinking that the M cab was going to have a soft top to keep the weight down. I got a feeling that the M cab is going to be one heavy car. Oh well, so was the E46 M cab too I guess...

The E46 is heavy, yes. But sadly while the E92 coupe is only a few pounds heavier than the E46 coupe, the E93 convertible looks like it will be gaining a couple hundred pounds over the E46 convertible. That is unless the rumored aluminum top pulls off some miraculous weight savings.

It's funny that they even bothered to cover the roundels as if no one could tell it's a BMW.
