Yeah, my bad. Unfortunately everything you search "M3 Specs", you get alot. I am hoping the admins do some consolidation.

I say BS
I find it hard to believe they are going to charge this price.
"Starting UK price £50,625" This is equal to a price of 100,017.53 USD! Is there something I am missing here? Is there something built into the UK price to make up for the projected increase of $40-45,000 US? IF the performance were to be sub 4 sec 0-60 and Qtr miles in the 11 Sec range I could understand. I couldn't afford it, but I could understand. I have to be missing something. |

Tbone can you delineate where the stock equipments end and where the options begin? I am assuming BOLD = options?
Nav = stock = iDrive included? |

Sorry I can't mate. I just (re)posted the data but I think there are other threads that have speculated on the options.

Baisically we get shafted! thats why when you convert the prices they are exagerated, as sterling is stronger when we are importing (which is mainly what we do) the price has to be increased to cover the exchange from exporting country plus our wonderful goverment adds on allsorts of taxes n dutys adding nearly 25% to purchase prices, everything expensive here £1 for 1 litre of fuel, its going to be £400 road tax soon per year for the m3 type of car (emission group) they always get you!

The Brits gets shafted for many things but cars, no one gets it worse than the Danish (Denmark). Apparently the M5 works out to between $250,000 - $300,000 USD.

Also 183 sounds right for the top speed for a 400+ hp motor

Top speed
Good point--even Michelin PS2s are only Y-rated (168 mph). You would need a W rating (186 mph). The ContiSportContact 2 Vmax is rated up to 220 mph, which might be overkill for the M3.
