Great post. And congratulations. There's another thread or two floating around here this morning saying, essentially, that, "it's just a car" or words to that effect. This thread represents the other side of the coin - the side that I believe that most of us are on. It's WAY more than, "just a car" to us. Good luck!

Great story and congrats on the car. I would be interested in what type of business you went into after Wall $treet if you care to share.

Can't say enough great things about Thompson BMW's service department.....beyond words how well they have treated my whole family over the years. Sales was not always so good to us, but Kerri Greene was my CA this time around and she completely took me by surprise: thorough, thorough, thorough with IMPRESSIVE knowledge about the product. She knew about every inch of this car, and even knew enough to point things out on the iDrive that I wouldn't have even knew was there or thought to ask about, and that is saying something since I read the Manual 3-4 times or so and spent what seems like 40hrs a week on here

Thanks, and more importantly, thank you for all of your posts that express how I feel, saving me from having to type anything other than "+1"

Yeah, it seems we get more complaining around here than anything. I don't want to be a fan boy, but the passion and soul of this car can be felt, something the fact sheets just can't properly communicate. I complain about the changes to ///M, so I must give them their props for the things I still love about that arm of BMW.

Real Estate development in India, and a manufacturing business based here in the U.S. with ties to India.

No, I'm not Indian

I haven't been over here on m3post in ages; it's nice to see some of the old user names, and even better to read a great story.

Congratulations on the M3 and on all the it represents!
