The G83 looks great, up or down.

I've been trying but the new grills haven't grown on me yet.

Check it out in the dark colors, like Tanzanite Blue Metallic. I like that the styling is both conservative and aggressive at the same time:

Love mine! And I agree, couldn't imagine going back to a coupe or sedan.

I agree, the darker colors do help mute the huge kidney grilles, although they have grown on me. I just got a '25 M4 Comp xDrive coupe in Tanzanite blue and love it.

But to the convertible point, I have an '06 Boxster S 6MT that I bought in '21 with 32K miles on it (Guards Red of course!). My plan was to sell it and get and 992.1 Carrera 4S with PDK and keep my beater Ford for daily driving. But the beater was getting long in the tooth and needed replacement, so I pulled the plug on the M4. I decided to keep the Boxster to scratch the convertible and 6MT itch, and play with some crazy mods now since I plan to keep the M4 mostly stock for now.

Beautiful cars in Tanzanite Blue Metallic. The larger blacked out grilles look great with the LED outlines for driving after sunset.

I don't mind the M4 bigger grille as much as the 440i.. It did get a bit better in 2025 and looks best with a dark color.

Some (many) might accuse me of just complaining. God knows the dealership I deal with thinks that and doesn't give a rats ass about anything that happened with my 8 series. The bottom seems to be falling out on my X5 as far as trade value goes, almost as bad as an 8 series it seems. It's now a $50k loss in 2 years. It's like if anything can go wrong, it will the past few years and I'm so deep in it now. Just want it to all go away so I can have some peace of mind...

Next go around, look at buying a car coming off a 3-year lease with low mileage. I am TOTALLY happy with my 2022 M4 Competition X-drive 'vert that I bought with 15,000 miles and $40,000 off the new invoice. That early depreciation is a fact of life with any brand, particularly a premium brand.
