LMAO the ending is random but funny...
I know you goal was to make a single exhaust, but I think if you were to add on another pipe to the other side to look Identical to the original side, It would look great and you would have the other side of the bumper filled in! Regardless it sounds great! |

much quieter then i expected... its actually pretty drivable!.. i will finish my tip design and drive it for a while i think... the drone that this car produces low RPM.. well this system somehow makes it fade out about 400 rpm earlier... around 2500rpm.. so on the interstate.. its great... |

it totally agree... theres is also a cool tip design i would do if i did that... with a 3inch to 2.5 inch reducer as the tip.... plus i like the angle it comes out at... but i think im done building my own exhausts for a while... |

Sounds good.
But I am not sure about the single tip. It just looks odd. Even if you put another tip on the other side to balance it out. It still would look weird. But its some different, great job experimenting. |

It ends up being a little annoying when listening to the stereo, but if you are concentrating on driving - it's priceless.......though this is my first v8, so I am a little more enthusiastic than many.

Cool. Congrats on being creative. The last time I did something like that, it was '78, I was in high school, and the car was a V6 Capri that I put an H pipe into and then merged the duals into a single race muffler at the rear. It was fine below 3000 rpm and ear piercing over 3000 rpm.
I had a buddy do the welding, though. If I had welded it, it would have weighed twice as much and fallen out on the freeway. |

I really like how that sounds, I've been thinking of doing something similar but I don't know if making a single top will restrict the flow?
If I did it, I'd definitely do a fake single tip on the other side, but thats just cosmetics. I really like how you had an angle on that muffler. Still have it? |
