Did an 8 hour round trip to Freeport, NY to pick up this full Fox Red Interior. Next step would be to install the driver seat airbag and restitch the seat.

I just did a fox red replacement into my vert and had to do the drivers seat airbag as well. Fortunately for me, the seats in the vert are a bit different and didn't require any stitching to repair. The airbag replacement was plug and play and the rest of the interior swap just requires patience. Good luck with everything, can't wait to see pics.

Did you have to clear any codes after installing a new airbag?

I wish the e90 seats had plastic covers for the airbags as that would save me more effort but Im glad the leather itself is not torn apart. Getting it restitched shouldnt be much of a hassle hopefully.

I disconnected the battery before removing my old seats and installing the new ones. I do currently have an error code, but I don't believe it is for the drivers seat airbag. My car is a 2013 and the seats I got were out of a 2008. There was no Active Head Restraint in the 2008 convertible front seats so I still need to get that coded out. We tried coding it out the other day, but we were unsuccessful. Will try again when I get time.

Ok makes sense. My fox red interior is from an LCI E90 so that shouldn't be a problem.

Congrats. I always wanted a fox red interior. This is my second IB E90 M3. First one was a late 2011 build normal e90. The current competition I have is an aug build with tan.

Preventative Maintenance Done

Its been a long 1 week without my M3 BUT as planned prior to purchasing, its getting all major preventative maintenance being done at Lehigh Valley Motors.

Got the following replaced:
- Valve cover & front cover gaskets
- Spark plugs
- Replaced Coolant hose from thermostat to expansion tank (was leaking)
- Rod Bearings (BE Rod Bearings/ ARP Rod Bolts)
- DCT Oil changed
- Rear Differential Fluid changed
- Power Steering Fluid changed

Ross (owner of LVM) sent me a picture of the Rod bearings today and Im glad I decided to get them replaced asap.

These are out of a 2011 E90 M3 with 68k miles::
