Nice score. Do a rod bearing change since Dinan used oem bearings when they built these. Then you can really see what’s inside and also inspect the cylinder walls.

Just found this...



Found this on Dinan's Page. SO I guess the covers were Matte Blk. I've got the same Matte covers, oil fill cap and baby blue bolt torque marks on mine.

TLDR

Bought the M3 at carvanna. Dont buy a car from them. Realized it had major Dinan upgrades... maybe even a 30K 4.6 stroker.

wow, lucky buy, beware a little bit though, the S85 Dinan 5.8s had trouble with reliability though.
