Reading between the lines, I think what that means is that Motorsports got absorbed by M-Division - not so much of a merger but a takeover, or some such.

Taken as a headline, this sounds promising. But the actions are reduced BMW presence in motorsports. So I’m not sure how to look at this...

I could swear "M" was for Motorsport! Hahahaha. Guess all the forums were right and it was just M for Marketing. 😁. Hopefully this means the cars get a sharper focus going forward.

BMW Motorsport has a long history with AP Racing so not likely to be Alcon. Definitely gotta be a four potter out back!

Edit: Looks like the M4 GT3 is running Alcons this year.
