Car will not start. HELP!

So I do have an update...this whole thing has been a bit crazy to say the least.
So I took it to Motorhaus in WPB.
They diagnosed/checked all the potential computer related issues.
-Everything ckecked out fine.
They went and removed the manifold to access the starter.
-they then checked the signal and that was fine too.
They pulled the starter, (the new one i just put in) and noticed that the connecter was short and did not engage all the way.... I did not notice this when I installed it...
-They put in my original starter (which was fine and I did not want to wait on a new one) and the car starts up fine.

To summarize:
1. initially I thought it was a battery problem, so i replaced it. Still wont start
2. I replaced the starter, still wont start.
3. I double check all my work and find that I have a corroded Positive battery cable. replaced it and still does not work..
4. The root cause is the new starter and the connector, so what seemed to be the proper connection, because it fits over, did not let it seat all the way down.
At the time, there was no way for me to know this, but it is all fixed now.

So it was likely just your positive battery terminal. Replacing your starter just created a new issue of connector not being fully seated.

Which starter did you buy? So we know to avoid it.

I bought a remanufactured Bosch instead of a Valeo.....buy Valeo

I also bought a Bosch and there was a plastic tab in the way that I had to shear off to get the terminal to fully seat IIRC - was not pleased about it at all at the time.

I just realized i never updated this:
bottom line it was the starter.
I pushed the car to it start it, the beauty of a manual.
so when i ordered the new starter "everything plugged in" via rockauto, per my year and oem remanufactured. or so i thought.
after taking it motorhaus, at first they were a bit perplexed because both the old and new starter worked. upon further investigation, the "new starter" did not plug in all the way even though the clips were locked, we put the old starter back in and it fired right up
