Which Small BMW Has Leaked - F52 1 Series Sedan LCI or Next Gen G42 2 Series Coupe?

Fairly confident this is a refresh for the F52 1 Series sedan.

That model is 3 years old now, prime for a LCI.

Personally, I think its the new G42. The design of the trunk and hood are way different than the current F52 and I think that BMW wouldn't go this far to redesign it for an LCI model for another 2-3 years. The car would be too outdated compared (interior and technology) to the 1 series hatch or even the 2GC. Usually LCI are very minor touches on small cars (I know its slightly bigger changes on the bigger cars). Thats my thoughts!

If this is a facelifted 1 series sedan, then it's a very extensive facelift. Normally BMW changes the lights and makes the grill bigger. This is far more than that.

For F20/21 the LCI was on point, but for these FWD based models only the fire is the solution 😎

Random stupid design with no defined language I presume as it seems that they are all over the place.

And the front looks ugly too, still keeping the hood line.
Imagine that we can have a hood with just two little lines between the headlamp and the grill. Elegant and classy.
But the choose that ridiculous, ugly scar on the face.
Any individual in that design team who does that or approves such abomination is a mediocre, stupid, senseless and lack of common sense designer. Or in short, an idiot!
