my M-DCT didn't show up for 2 days. along the way, sometimes tracking would show the options one hour, and not the next. nutz.

I just tracked my car successfully on the bmw website for the first time and it shows Scheduled For Production 01 finally.I know its supposed to show this 3-4 for days before production but I though the website was supposed to be a couple of days behind or could it have moved earlier again and already in production?I'm going to call the 800# tomorrow....

I'm down for a week 25build for my e93/JzB/BamBeige/DCT.
I CANNOT WAIT!!! I've taken to phoning my dealer every 2 or 3 days now. In fact, it's just as well I do as last Friday he checked the system and it said I'd been put back until late August! He spent the rest of that evening making calls to get it back on track for week 25, and finally called me at 8:30pm in the evening to confirm all was ok again, and I could relax and enjoy my weekend. Very impressed. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there's any way for us in the UK/Europe to check our order status ourselves online(?) |

Just called the number and they said that I am scheduled for end of week 23 or early week 24 after talking to a person, the automated system bites. Now here's hoping for no delays!!

When the factory accepted my order on April 28, and ever since then, the 1-800 number and my dealer consistently showed that I was scheduled for wk 24 production. As it turns out, my E93 started production June 2, and is slated for completion on June 11 - which makes me wonder - is the week of production a reference to the start of production, or the completion of production - or, to state it differently, is my car a week 23 or week 24? (I know this is really an academic question - bottom line is my car is finally in production and I don't know how I'm going to wait out the last 4-5 weeks until delivery)!!!
Another question - has anyone else's production cycle been less than 9 days (I'm obviously hoping for a few "yes" answers here...). Finally, has anyone heard of delivery to the USA (chicago area in my case) happening in anything less than 4 weeks from completion of production (sorry, now my optimism is getting a little crazy)..??? |

When on order the schedule production week is supposed to be the latest it'll start production. If your car started production this week, it started week 23.I was told the production process takes about 6 days,to complete ,but regardless i've heard when production is done it usually takes 5-7 weeks for the car to get to the dealer depending where you live |

Gonna immediately get it on I-5 down to Los Angeles to visit family, and to have Brandon black-out the aluminum matte exterior trim. The road trip will chip away at the 1200-mile break-in.

Woo Hoo!! Production has officially started on my car. The 1-800 number says it's "in production" with a scheduled completion date of 21 June. I'm also finally able to track it using the BMW website. It doesn't list ALL of my individual options though (like the 19" wheels, M-DCT, HD radio, Satellite radio, PDC, etc.). Guess I'll just have to trust that it's all there. At least the colors are showing up correctly:

Call your dealer and they should know. Mine called me this morning to tell me that it sailed today (and he had confirmation that it was on-board). Good luck.
