I just switched back to BPM from ESS and car is running stronger/smoother.
Yeah I had the BPM and still rock the DCT tune definitely loved it and I miss it. Been talking with Mike and I may switch back!

I actually reached out to him today, so we'll see what happens.

***UPDATE***

Thanks to help of Mike Benvo, and AJ it appears that it's a common problem with Akrapovic exhaust due to the shape/form of the x-pipe. I guess it's a known problem known as the "akrapovic dip" which causes hesitation/delay from 2-2.5k RPM

I've been wondering about this myself. Is there an easy fix? ECU change or changing the xpipe for which one?

You can alleviate the issue to some extent with camshaft adjustments in the software. It's caused by the Akra's H pipe. Most aftermarket pipes are X pipes without the H and don't bring out this issue.

Thanks Mike. And xpipes do not exhibit what feels like a slight power hole with an hpipe at 2k-2.5k? Is it there also on stock engine and magnified with a SC, or only shows up with SC?
