High rpm hesitation

Good idea. I am frankly amazed how much better the car runs after doing the coils - makes a big difference.

You may be able to test resistance and find the offending coil and save some bank, but if they've never been changed I'd personally just do them all.

How many miles had your car done when you changed them all?

The car has 80k now but Im not the original owner so I honestly don't know. I know it was done at least once prior, as the parts I pulled out of the car aren't the same as what I received from ECS.

The symptoms that led me to change them was occasional hesitation under load, stuttering in the lower RPMs at full throttle, and a subtle roughness in idle. A weird byproduct of changing coils is it is also a bit quieter (less drone) on the highway now (remus race exhaust, test pipes), which I can only attribute to better combustion.

Seems to be a few people in uk having problems with coilpacks lately, at least you know they are done now though, I have done 46000 miles at moment on a 58 plate and am having spark plugs replaced soon so may just get these while my mechanic has everything open, as I plan on doing 6/7 track days in 2016

Good to know...definitely doing them all. Should've bit the bullet and done them when I did the plugs.

My car had the similar issue ,so after change those sparks plugs all back to normal and codes gone

i just changed my plugs and while the car does run better, particularly at lower rpm, it still has this hesitation at higher rpm, past 6 or 7krpm and so i will be busting out the old automotive meter and see if i can hunt down the bad coil(s?) based on resistance or whatnot.
