s65 usually run $14,500-18,000USD for a new refurb and a used one usually run 7500-12k depending on mileage and extras.

Yes bro I saw that serious BF from Malek's car and of course I know also Malek's thread because I was also in it with a question from me to Malek .
Edit : If OP has a black hole, no need to engine assembly because metal shavings are all over and the engine damage is equal to complete distruction and only a new/rebuilt engine is the only fix to save his car .

The funny thing about this is that ///M cars are developed on the Nurburgring also called "The Green Hell" they run countless rounds to test the shit endless on that track and we don't may to run it on a track !

car 42k, oil change every 7-8k miles, track it 5-6 times a year since 2012.

Hate you lost your engine man, hope my new bearings last me until 120k or so when I plan on doing a full engine/stroker rebuild.

BMW markets this car as 'Born on the racetrack' or something to that effect. They boast about their Nurburgring times, post all kinds of track videos on their youtube channel, and if you take Performance Center delivery you are encouraged to run your car around on a track. Furthermore they teach HPDE using M cars from time to time and give exhibition laps at places like Lime Rock. But if you track your car your warranty is voided? I believe this only applies if it's being used in a competition event. Otherwise false advertising.

HPDE will not avoid warranty as I heard from my dealer, I took my car to dealer for service and they are fine with all my mods. I got MCS, Stoptech, exhaust, x-pipe, basically nothing stock other than engine itself.

I heard that as long as not timing during HPDE which is not count as the competitive motorsports and BMW warranty will be ok. You can check with your locate region BMW club, they can give you better suggestion before contact you locate BMW dealer
