Correct. No cats. Also this unit doesn't seem to be as loud as my previous set up with UUC Corsa, this unit has a lot more bass and not as pitched as the UUC which I like. And the exhaust is crazy lightweight. I did not get a scale but definitely noticable when doing the switch.

Thanks. That answered much of the questions in my mind. I'm interested in dropping weight and think with OE CAT's and x-pipe, the system will be tolerable.

Sounds great in the video, and you're right about the "pitch" of the sound. Under 30 pounds, so it's more than 30 pounds lighter than stock, and a bit lighter than titanium options, too (with more long-term durability).

You can't come out of a muffler and not add pipe to the rear - and not melt your rear bumper, and we aren't supplying a part that isn't finished. Mufflers that have twin-outs have a different internal flow path that we don't want - and by definition would consequently be a larger, heavier oval muffler. And the Y-out after the muffler for the look adds weight and is not my preference. Turndowns aren't for everyone (and not for the vast majority) - but you can add if wanted.

The twin tips (one per side) we used are actually quite light. I requested a standard slash-cut pipe like we use on our E36/46 Race Exhausts initially, but the minimal weight of a nice tip and the fact that it is really quite reasonable for dual use cars, and wildly so with center cats or resonators, was the nod toward the slightly more finished look. Same twin tip rear seen on most racecars (without street exhausts).

That being said, we know of several dual-duty drivers who would be more than happy to bolt this on. Not ideal for a business-meeting car, but a great-sounding and very lightweight option for those who track their cars... or don't care about neighbors.
