A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

If you want performance and practicality:
GLA45 AMG or Macan (less room than golf R though) Golf R or R400 if they bring it Focus RS Utility: I'd say Grand Cherokee Overland V-8 or Summit or New XC90 T6 Sedan: Charger Scat pack (or Hellcat ), SS (not a fan of how it looks but performance is there) S4 is going to be redesigned soon and while its a good car its dated. |
