Agreed, not many M3s are likely to have replaced bearings. Ill do mine next year once a solution is released and tested to my liking. At 67k miles now.

I have an 08 with 65k. I changed the bearings last year as preventative maintenance at 61k. Mine did not look terrible like many that have come out of these cars, but had what I would call premature wear on 4 of the upper shells. At the rate I drive, they probably would have been OK for a few more years. But that was something I did not know and my CPO warranty had just run out. I could afford $500 and a weekend to change them but I could not afford $10k for a used engine.

Had mine changed this week at 70k (2009). Several looked brutal. Lots of copper. Car had 0 issues going in, totally preventative. Good news, crank looked like new. Not trying to freak anyone out, but that was my experience. No Blackstone reports.

08, 40k, Supercharged since 26k. Blackstone reports look good.
Have another friend with an 08 with 109k on the clock.

What bolts and bearings did you put in place of OEM?

09 w/60K original owner miles. Getting them changed as we speak. Blackstone reports had been single digits for lead levels, but I'm planning on keeping long-term, so figured I'd get them done. Looking forward to getting the results and back into the driver's seat soon.

2009 e92M3 here. I have the car since brand new, 35K miles now. Original bearings. Blackstone report was good at 30K miles, thats when we installed ESS VT-1 SC.
