Rear facing Valentine 1 Sensor - Anyone tried detaching it?

So I installed the V1 in the traditional spot today. I left some room on the cable to reach the V1 when the Blendmount comes on Monday. For now it's just tucked behind the mirror (which obviously obstructs the rear facing sensor - although it is still working).

Here is my setup and I am completely happy with it.

Stays on much longer than the dual suction cups. So far over 4 months and has not fallen off.

Update: I have had it longer than 4 months just stating that it has not fallen off in a long time.

Nice. Did you happen to also get SAVVY, LE or the concealed display? I haven't figured out what to do with Savvy for the iPhone app yet.

This V1 does not have ESP so no savvy. I did not do the concealed display as I found no real good place to mount it. I did convert this V1 to color LED's which is great. Should have come this way from the factory.

Must have mod for the V1.

I have the mod on the V1 in my E90 and on the concealed display only on my Tundra.

You can arrange for them to mod your V1 to add the color LED.
