If so, then why buy a car with more than 100hp if u can't use it? If that philosophy were true, the streets would be filled with golf diesels. I highly doubt that anyone with a supercharger has lowering springs. At the minimum they have a gc kit or a sleeve kit from kw. The M3 may be the wrong car for brute power. U are correct 100%. But what a good feeling it would bring when u can beat most super cars with say a stage 3 gintani kit or an ESS 650 kit? the look on their face when they lose makes the 10-20k price tag worth it, I'm sure. To wrap up my point, I just think if person x is going to spend y amount on a car, performance should be included. Again, my opinion. People who drive a stock Powered m3 with the best suspension, best brakes, best seats, have done it all wrong IMO. Again, I'm more of a power guy so obviously I'm biased. The first major mod I do before anything else will be a blower kit. I like the feeling of power rather than being able to say "wow look how little body roll I had on that turn!" And don't bother saying "should've bought a c63 or something with more power. If I wanted a c63, I would've bought one. Cheers, and merry Christmas to all |

Ohlins are certainly not a bad setup at all. I had them on my old S2000. Although not the best suspension out there, definitely a top 5 setup.
Bump for an awesome setup.

we live in an age when ppl spend 10k on wheels (ADV.1 for example) yet someone can't swallow 10k price tag on Ohlins?

Having ADV.1 and Ohlins in the same sentence is so much of an insult to these AMAZING suspension already, regardless of the price attached to em. I know PINHEAD and fruitcake are gonna be so fxxking mad at me.

If I was brave enough and had enough experience to properly set this up, I would be all over this.

This is not a poser set up. A proper suspension and brakes will make you faster on track than just a supercharger alone. Especially a novice. Anyone can drive fast in a straight line - throw a few turns and bends in and that is when the fun begins. Juan - GLWS. If I planned on keeping my car longer term and didn't already have Motons - I am sure I would jump on this....who know though |

A set of top quality dampers make a *huge* difference for handling - and the best stuff on Earth still has the ability to smooth out bumps - which allows you to put down the power like nothing else.
Someday, when my E90 gets its rear doors welded shut, I will look for a set like this. And I think it's not a bad idea at all to get a $40k used E92 M3, put $10k in suspension and another $10k in brakes/wheels, loose some weight and then go bother some seriously expensive cars on track... GLWS.
