Gold to me is so 1990's. Not my flavor either but it you like it that is all that matters.

Personally I'd repaint all the gold to charcoal. That may look cool actually.

You can do the hood vents charcoal along with the wheels, reflectors, grills

I say go for it. Youre going for the Iron Man theme anyway so you should do it up. Id like to see some shots from further away also.

you seem to be a good guy who takes critique constructively, and I mean this to help, not
put you down - that looks terrible. the gold wheels really clash with the red - too much flash - and the side markers are even worse. again, they just clash and the combo of colors is very hard on the eyes. it's as loud as those guys who replace everything on their cars with chrome including the trim.

anyway, just my opinion and meant in a positive way

So based on your name and avatar, is it safe to say that's the theme you're going for with this car?

I agree. Obviously not to everyone's taste but if your intention is do ironman themed m3, looks pretty darn good. May as well go all the way. You can always change stuff back easily when you get bored with it. Why not get some ironman plates too as someone suggested before.

IronMan is so 2010.

Paint the wheels green and go for the AquaMan theme

Please trade your M3 in for an Oldsmobile, like this one.

Not trying to be mean, but if you think this is bad, it sums up how we (the M3post collective of men who love p***y) feel about what you've done to your car.

I think it's more your speed and matches the maturity level and where you are in life.

I just don't think you get the concept of driving a nice car.

Maybe you can show your car to the guys making the new Iron Man movie, so it can be his official car. Kinda how Batman has the Batmobile. lol.

I see where you're going with the Ironman theme but IMO if you try and mimic exactly what is seen in comics and the movie it will come across really ghetto looking.

Given the "race inspired" nature of the M3 I would draw influence from that and merge it with the Ironman theme. IE: use bronze instead of gold. EAS recently showed how well this combo works with red: http://www.europeanautosource.com/co...nze-volk-te37s

Now that doesn't mean that you should bronze out all of your accents but the brake calipers would be another piece that would work well with red/bronze.

Now if you can get the hyper bronze Volks in this thread it will be a win win: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=735592
