I'm planning to get a BEFORE dyno with our local group buy before I do any of the installs (will be held on Oct.17th).
Also, I'm trying to get myself dyno tuned on the weekend of Oct. 23rd. I know that it's perfectly ok to run with the installs before being tuned, but I just feel more comfortable getting everything done closer together. I'll see how everything goes though. |

After I hear/ride in your car I'll make up my mind and see if I'll get the Fabspeed x-pipe...

I will post video and dyno graphs of my Fabspeed Setup either October 3rd or 4th. Will be getting the dyno done on the 3rd so that way you can have an independent dyno result in deciding for or against the Fabspeed stuff...I am very curious for the results as well!

looks nice
How do they get a good seal between the X section and the cat replacement section? Two flat surfaces just bolted together look a potential exhaust leak spot.

Gaskets solve this and are much better than clamps like what the Encore system uses.

Hopefully, every experience I've had with gaskets in an application like this doesn't take very long before they blow out and you have a leak.

depends how the fit is, I've had luck doubling up the gaskets on applications that keep blowing out. If you have any issue, sometimes this will help. Let's hope not though Excited to see videos and read your review.

I'm excited as well. I'll keep everybody waiting for a while on the vids, but it'll be well worth it when I'm all done. I guarantee it. |
