We've now got air and should have our first delivery of dry ice tomorrow. If you're interested and local, reach out and we'll get you on the schedule!
Not sure how to embed Flickr videos (I tried every option, couldn't get it to work), but here's a link to the compressor startup: https://flic.kr/p/2n6Gmzv My temporary workspace:

Congrats! Keep it up, and good luck!
Random question and apologies if it was asked before: does dry icing our undercarriages mess with whatever it was BMW applied to the metal for preventing rusting? My general and novice understanding is that it prevented rusting for 10 or so years when applied at the factory. Thanks, Dave |

It can, yes. But many people having this done are collectors who don't necessarily drive their vehicles and so they want to get rid of all that cosmoline and under coating. But for those people who actually do drive their vehicles, we can apply a clear layer of protection that doesn't stand out as much as old-school cosmoline does. Quote:
Facebook.com/entICEDgarage Instagram.com/entICEDgarage The shop is in Raynham, MA! And yes, cleans up aluminum BEAUTIFULLY!!

As mentioned above, about the coatings. This is safe for silicone, plastics, clearcoat, and powder coating right? I'm relatively new to this type of service. It seems really popular among the community recently. Debating on either sending you parts that are off the motor now or just have you blast it when it's back together How long does an engine bay cleaning usually take (trying to get an idea of costs)? Feel free to PM me a estimate if you don't feel comfortable posting it online yet. Last edited by Down_Shift; 03-10-2022 at 10:28 PM.. |

I have nothing to hide and always aim to provide full transparency. Some won't like the pricing structure, but those who understand and appreciate the value that my services provide will get it! Engine bays start at $250 and like anything, it really comes down to the vehicle and how dirty it currently is. Most newer cars will probably only need an hour or 2 of work. Some older vehicles could require 2+ hours of cleaning for the engine bay. Hope that helps! And please, feel free to give me a follow on my social media accounts so you can stay up to date with what I've got going on. Thank you and cheers!

Technically, the compressor isn't even in any of the photos I posted (my bad)! Here you go (she's the one alone on the left):

Had our first client vehicle (1979 Mercedes Benz 300CD) in recently for engine bay, wheel well, undercarriage and some other miscellaneous cleaning.
BEFORE DURING Couldn't see these paint marks before! And originality is key for many clients...we don't want to knock off these sort of marks or stickers that are original to the vehicle if we can help it. AFTER

How 'bout including an "after" engine bay photo? Man, I see all the dust and dirt on the floor in the "after" shots compared to the virgin concrete floor in the "before" shots. Sure hope you're wearing a mask or respirator? Lovin' the thread. SO it appears all the equipment, the training, the planning, the investment, the research, and all of the hard work has begun to pay off.. You've done more than wave good by to the Corporate American rat race.. Don't look back..

And absolutely, I wear a full face 3M respirator, as well as commercial-grade Bluetooth earmuffs/headphones. Last thing I wanna be doing is breathing in all this crap. And thank you again so much for the kind words and support throughout this process! I've gone down to part-time at my day job to make the work/life balance a little bit better for me in the interim. Here's hoping this takes off. 🤞🏻

Hey there,
Could you describe your engine bay cleaning process? Is it the full engine bay? Like just the top? Top, bottom and front? I am getting my valve cover gaskets done soon and now want a very clean engine bay after. I want to send that service your way! |

Awesome work and garage setup. Will definitely be reaching out after doing the oil pan gasket and RMS on my car. The undercarriage is in desperate need of help.
