I bought a 2013 m3 last year with full CPO and I asked my sales guy if they typically CPO ///M cars (because it was the only one on the lot with CPO) and his answer was straight up no unless the mileage was under 25k kms and the previous owner was a frequent at that BMW dealer.. strange I thought but oh well I bought the car anyways lol. Btw this was Calgary BMW if it matters to anyone.

I still contacted the previous owner to ask him if he's had any issues with the car. |

I bought my 2010 M as a CPO vehicle when it was 2.5 years old (in-service date July 2010). It had 22,000 km on the odometer. BMW sent me a letter confirming its CPO status shortly after I bought it. Great peace of mind. I took the car to the dealer last summer just before the warrantee expired to get them to check everything over. They replaced/adjusted a couple small things (can't remember what they were) under the warrantee.

Seems like all the M CPO cars above are Canadiens. Any US CPOs out there?

Here's what I did: 1. Sent a flatbed to come pick up the car (I was about 75 miles away) 2. Bring and leave a loaner car 3. Go through the CPO process and provide me the warranty paperwork and CPO Checklist 4. Flat bed my car back and pick up the loaner There was nothing wrong on my car, so I had no issues keeping the car. You obviously wanted this car as a CPO, so if they can make it a CPO with no cost to you, then you should be made whole. However if you now do not want the car for some other reason, you could start claiming they defrauded you and you want to return the car with a full refund.
