Woohoo, the car is straight, air jack tubes are in and the cage is in! Now the fun begins. Colour choices and final confirmation on parts to go in!

Meh.. I like matte black but since the car is going to be re-painted, why not a unique color? It's going to be a track car anyway!

As for an individual colour, making up a one off colour means a large cost. In future repairs, repaint when future carbon upgrades go on, making up one specific colour to the car just to name a few. I really like red and black so I was looking to go like Tom Blomqvist in the DTM but black.

Why wouldn't you make new seat mounts that tie in to the rollcage?

Impressive car build.
I have same caliper (6078),so its interesting to discuss about hat design, adapters and caliper studs..I have 3d scan, cad model etc.It was hard to make..Please contact to my personal box if you like this idea. ps-just finished almost same roll cage and i had 1 question : to weld front strut mount with triangulation or not. Is it a final decision? |

Yes my cage will be staying as is and getting painted soon so that is our final decision. We are keeping it to FIA specs |

Are you running the 6078 all around? I'm only running them on the rears to use the smaller disc size (355mm) and then use the 6160 Calipers on the front running 380mm discs

So yes: 380+355. Its important to make stiff hat and adapter+correct titanium bobbins. Already finished with bobbins. Now i have hat drawing and adapter. I'd like to make 2 different sets: for iron it is aluminum, titanium alloy for carbon setup. What set you have a plan to run with ? (I mean brake lines, cylinder etc).Do you want to make complete air duct system ? |
